To prove it, look at any public company’s financial statement and count the pages with numbers and those primarily with words.

Small business has unique needs for accounting services: primarily tax and advising, and secondarily day-to-day accounting needs to act as de-facto controllers and decision makers. An accounting degree in 2022 ignores the needs of companies providing nearly ½ of American GDP and 2/3 of new job creation. This is not a bad thing.
