Even KPMG in South Africa Could Not Escape the Clutches of PCAOB Enforcement

Earlier today the PCAOB gave KPMG of the South African variety a slap on the wrist and punished a couple of partners for the firm collaborating with an outside accounting firm not registered with the PCAOB on three years ’ worth of audits of a public company. That non-registered accounting firm was KPMG Zimbabwe.
