It’s for a good reason, considering business spend on services like these has spiked in recent years. The latest stats from travel and expense company Certify revealed that Uber secured 56 percent of ground transportationexpenses for Certify customers in 2017, up from 52 percent in 2016.
Expensify cardholders have the ability to reserve airline travel, lodging and rental cars by chatting with a concierge on the expensemanagement company’s platform, while all reservations come with Global Rescue services and alerts in addition to safety kits, the release states.
“We will carry this momentum into the rest of 2018 and remain focused on making business travel easy, accessible and affordable,” David Baga, Lyft’s chief business officer, wrote in a statement emailed to Bloomberg, which covered the Certify report. The ride-hailing and ground transportation competition in the U.S.
These features can be accessed for free, and data from the trip will automatically flow into the Concur platform for expense reporting and visibility. “Our average enterprise customer expenses almost $1 million in ground transportation annually, and about 7 percent of that is with Uber today,” said Concur President Elena Donio.
